Recognizing the importance of post secondary education in today's society, UFCW Canada offers 18 annual scholarships of $1,000 each to members and their children for post secondary study.

UFCW Canada Beggs-Dowling-Mathieu Scholarship ProgramAllocated by regions across Canada these scholarships are named as a lasting tribute to three past leaders of our union: William Beggs, Fred Dowling, and Roméo Mathieu.

In addition to the Beggs-Dowling-Mathieu scholarships, UFCW International also awards 7 four-year scholarships annually to members or their children throughout North America. Two scholarships each worth $8,000 will be awarded to qualifying UFCW Canada members or their dependants.
